I bet you have!
Sometimes though we want to pray it's hard to express our selves to God and even harder to ask Him what we want.
WHY?
This is MOST COMMON ATTACK of satan: HEAVINESS.
He is trying to make you feel guilty and desperate so you will not comunicate with your Loving Father and receive comfort and strenght.
The moment you start to pray he will remind you all the wrong things you have done, all the wrong things others have done to you, and all the works and plans you need to make for the next day, week or month! And then you feel heavy, burdened, and such a failure.....
You recognise this, right?
There is a way to overcome this attack and TAKE THE VICTORY!
Isaiah 61:3 (Amplified Bible)
To grant [consolation and joy] to those who mourn in Zion—to give them an ornament (a garland or diadem) of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning,
*** the GARMENT [expressive] OF PRAISE INSTEAD OF A HEAVY, BURDENED, AND FAILING SPIRIT ***
—that they may be called oaks of righteousness [lofty, strong, and magnificent, distinguished for uprightness, justice, and right standing with God], the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.
Put on some worship, and just stay there even if you don't have anything to say. Just sing and follow the songs. This is how you PUT ON the GARMENT OF PRAISE.
Then you will see the POWER of GOD to fall on you and CLEAN YOU and give you STRENGHT, and WISDOM, and JOY, and PEACE! And there you have received your VICTORY!
TO PRAISE THE LORD IS YOUR STRONGEST BATTLE THAT GIVES YOU THE GREATEST VICTORY!
